  1. Thank you so much for sharing this, I loved reviewing your stats, I find it great fun! THE MATING OF MILLIE was a childhood favorite of mine when it was shown on local TV, but I haven't seen it in many years - I should rectify that. Since I've been watching COLUMBO recently you've also made me interested in revisiting THE CHEAP DETECTIVE for the first time since it came out when I was young. Here's to a great movie year in 2024!
    Best wishes,
    Laura

  2. Heaven Knows Mr Allison is great!

For some reason, Glenn Ford is someone I think is just OK. I do love Gilda though!!

    1. For years Ford has been someone I didn't care one way or another about. Then I saw him in "So Ends Our Night" (1941) and he really impressed me. Then I saw both "Mr. Soft Touch" and "The Mating of Millie" and suddenly I was a Glenn Ford fan! It's funny how you can watch a bunch of movies of someone and then one day randomly become a fan.

I put off watching Gilda for a long time because I was tired of seeing the two Hayworth gifs that get used all the time. It wasn't anything like I expected!
