This was Charles Grodin/1970s/Jeff Bridges month. I watched the Grodin documentary on TCM and then rewatched Midnight Run, which is a favorite (even though I've only watched it once before). Then I rewatched Seems Like Old Times, which I had thought was only ok the first time I watched it because I didn't know who Grodin was at the time. This led me to watching more of his films for a total of ten. I found several on the Internet Archive (they have the extended version of King Kong). Watching Sunburn with Farrah Fawcett and King Kong with Jeff Bridges led me to discover Somebody Killed Her Husband (on Tubi) with the two of them and more Jeff Bridges movies (previously I had only seen him in Hell of High Water and he's apparently in Seabiscuit, which I didn't care for - a single puking scene can ruin an entire movie for me lol). I also watched the pilot for Charlie's Angels. For some reason I've always confused it in my mind with Baywatch.

Least Favorite Film: Thieves was depressing, though it had a "happy" ending. I skipped some of the rascist rants. The Heartbreak Kid was ok. I was enjoying Thunderbolt and Lightfoot (had to skip some scenes) but the end was super depressing. Don't recommend watching right before bed :(
Favorite Movie: My favorite discovery was Just Me and You (1978). The reviews on IMDb were mixed but I'm in the camp that loves this film. If anyone has it on VHS and wants to sell it to me for not too much I'd be forever grateful lol. The only copy on eBay is over $80 :'( I watched it on the Internet Archive. I also really liked Somebody Killed Her Husband (1978) - Tubi. It definitely had some Hitchcock vibes.
