Least Favorite Film: Johnny Guitar was PRETTY bad. “Emma” had a major problem... The patients in Three on a Couch were annoying (I liked Jerry Lewis’ more restrained character though).

Favorite Movie: Intermezzo was really good. Ingrid Bergman was ridiculously luminous. Paper Moon was really good. Also, it's a crime Thelma Ritter didn't win the Oscar for Pickup on South Street.

  1. Now I'm curious, what makes Jerry Lewis "x7" in The Family Jewels?

    1. He plays seven different people, as only Jerry Lewis could ;)

  2. A good theme song can carry me a long way and Johnny Guitar can get into my head and stay for hours. I can't help but focusing on that white dress she wears in the cave. How many dresses? How many times was it changed? Etc., etc., etc.

I remember getting a kick out of Three on a Couch years ago. I wonder how I would find it today.

Thelma deserved all the awards but she didn't need them. We know her.

    1. Haha definitely a bold choice. I probably would have liked it better if Emma had been played by someone else or if they would have shown more why she hated Crawford. It felt like it started in the middle of their story.

Yes she did! But wow, when her lip trembled...
